The Perigord geological gem
The lift takes us to 25m under the ground to immerge ourselves in a dream world. Following the underground river, we discover the multitude and diversity of concretions, with an innovative staging that is respectful of nature.
During the visit, we learn about the tragedy of the discovery, by an exceptional potholer. Then, we also learn about the formation of the cavity for millennia, the water digging the rock to form this enchanting landscape.
The Tourtoirac cave, the most recent cave open to the public, is accessible to everyone, and it offers visits with multilingual guides or visits that are translated by audioguides provided with a magnetic loop and audio description.

Dates and opening hours

march and november: every week-ends from 2:00pm to 6:00pm
april and october: every days from 2:00pm to 6:00pm
may, june, and september: every days from 10:am to 12:00am et from 2:00pm to 6:00pm
july and august: every days from 9:30am to 7:30pm
tuesday evening: nignt tour from 8:30pm to 11:00pm
christmas holidays: from 2:00pm to 6:00pm (exept 25/12 and 01/01)
